May 6 2020 D S MAHARAJ AND VEERAN MAHARAJ Going through my journalist scrap books during this lockdown period, I found these two news articles that I had written in 1973 and 1974 about Mr D S Maharaj and Veeran Maharaj. D S had visited India and he enthralled the people there about his music, while his nephew, Veeran, attracted the news media with his winning R19 000 on horse racing after dreaming the winning numbers.
